Yu is an illustrator who used to study literature and now lives in London, studying illustration at University of the Arts London . Her experience in literature and intercultural study makes her want to become a storyteller herself. She is now focusing on experimenting with how descriptive still images can tell stories in clear and communicative ways without the timing dimension.

 

Besides her interest in book and editorial illustrations, she also pays great attention to children and people’s childhood that can have a profound impact on their whole life. So she is also fond of looking at the scenes about sweet trifles in daily life that can remind people of their detailed memories about their childhood and arouse their love for life. So her practices is now focusing on telling children story as well.
